What is the best way to wash cloth diapers?
To ensure the longest possible service life, you should consider the following points:
- Place the Lumina XL wet bag in the washing machine with both zippers open. Turn the pail liner or double wet bag inside out.
- Set the pre-wash program and pre-rinse and pump the diapers once
- Absorbent material can be washed at up to 60°C using a full wash program and additional water programs. PUL overpants are best washed at 40°C with colored laundry.
- After washing, it is best to air dry
What to do with new diapers?
It is best to wash your new cloth diapers once with the 40°C wash, make sure you use a detergent suitable for cloth diapers
Your absorbent materials need about 8-10 washes to reach their full absorbency.
What happens to the big business in the diaper?
There is nothing to do with breast milk stool, as it is water-soluble and odorless and can be washed away with the appropriate washing routine.
For solid or bottle-feeding stools, simply use our diaper liner and dispose of the mess in the trash or down the toilet. If any spills land on the insert, please remove them before washing.
